There were times of great despair.

 

But see, I never gave up.

 

There were times I had to check myself, to see how much I really cared.

At times the flicker of a candle,

 

Was the only flame in my heart, my spirits were so low that they were running on fumes…

 

But see, I never gave up.

 

Millions of people have it millions times worse that I could ever imagine.

 

People stopping me on the street saying, ”We’re praying for you to make it.”

 

How dare I give up.

 

I’m standing here on this stage making my dream come true.

 

I will never, ever give up…Don’t Quit!
